Adult Education Master's Degree –
Kansas City Area, Online, Fort Leavenworth

The 33-credit hour Master of Science in Adult and Continuing Education helps working adults from a wide variety of professions become better educators, trainers, facilitators, program planners, managers, and leaders.

Applicable Coursework with Opportunity to Specialize

Students at K-State Olathe

Core coursework (18 credit hrs.) examines characteristics of adult learners, explores motivational, social, and cultural differences, develops skills in planning and evaluating programs for adults, and helps professionals better understand how adults develop and learn.

The remaining 15 credit hours of coursework are electives, providing an opportunity to specialize in a content area most applicable to your current work or future goals. A wide variety of adult and continuing education electives are available, or you can choose a Graduate Certificate Program in an area like Academic Advising or Conflict Management.

The master’s degree in adult and continuing education is designed for working adults and features:
