We are happy to have you on board with us this semester and congratulate you on a job well done as you complete your ESL endorsement sequence of courses. Following you will find some examples of sections I and III of the platform paper you are to include in your practicum portfolio. You will also find examples of artifacts that correspond with these sections.

These examples serve to give you an understanding of how to frame your platform sections as well as the types of samples you can include in the artifacts section of your portfolio. Keep in mind that the artifacts you choose for each section as delineated by your module, correspond directly to the same sections of your platform paper. Also included are examples of the introductory and closing framing statements.

As you work on your portfolio, remember to let your voice as an educator shine through! We want to know all about how you are applying what you have learned throughout your sequence of courses toward your ESL certification to your professional practice. Be sure to include relevant research where appropriate.
