Houses a collection of over one million volumes. The facility includes services such as lounges, study areas, copy and imaging machines, and slide viewing areas.

Lafene Health Center

Maintains an outpatient ambulatory care unit, including x-ray services, pharmacy and clinical laboratory. Available to all students.

Office of Student Activities and Services

Carries on students’ self-government. Purpose is to help students voice any problems, suggestions, or grievances. Resources include consumer relations and attorney available to students.

Office of Student Financial Assistance

Assists students needing scholarships, loans, grants, and other forms of financial support.

Registrar’s Office

Maintains all official academic records. Transcripts of coursework completed at K-State can be obtained. No charge for currently enrolled students. Otherwise, $8.00 charge per copy.

Study Abroad Office

Tutoring Center

Provides free tutoring service.

University Counseling Services

Provides individual or group counseling on a referral or walk-in basis. Services include psychological testing, stress management, assertiveness training, and couples communication.

Writing Center

Provides non-degree credit for students who need help in fundamental composition skills.

Resources

American Red Cross
Prior to student teaching, all College of Education students must take a First Aid and CPR class. Check here for information on classes scheduled in Manhattan and the current cost of class offered by the Red Cross.

Education Honors Program
The major purpose of the honors program is to give selected students an opportunity to expand their knowledge of the teaching profession and to acquire a desire to be leaders in the profession.
