CAEP Annual Reporting Measures

CAEP (Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation) has eight annual reporting measures which are used to provide information to the public on program impact and program outcomes.

Below are the eight reporting measures for our undergraduate and graduate initial and advanced licensure programs with links to data tables and information that provide supporting evidence for each measure.

Teacher Education Data Dissemination System
The teacher education program at Kansas State University recognizes the importance of sharing program data widely with key stakeholders, and we are committed to continuous improvement through co-construction of the content, structure, and techniques of our systems. The chart below summarizes our deliberate processes for sharing data and receiving feedback from our constituencies.

1. Impact on P-12 Learning and Development

Initial Programs

The College of Education gathers data on completer impact using both empirical and artistic research designs. We have launched an ambitious and ongoing case study design that when fully implemented, will sample up to 75 completers and provide rich data describing impact on P-12 student learning over a three-year period. Additionally, the College of Education is producing a series of documentary films exploring the working lives of early career teachers who are completers of our programs. A full-length documentary about first-year teachers was completed in 2017, and additional videos are currently in production. We believe this work provides an arts-based research component capable of offering a unique and valuable perspective, both in terms of capturing the impact our completers are having in their classrooms as well as assisting our efforts to improve our programs.
