Join us with your iPad for an innovative, inspiring full-day workshop focused on iPad apps supporting communication, productivity, teaching and learning!

Cost: $60 (includes lunch) – space is limited

What's hAPPening in your class? Come and discover how powerful iPad apps can bring collaboration and creativity into your classroom. Find your classroom "Power Zone" while students connect to content.

Empower, Inspire and Integrate technology in a way that can enhance how you teach and how students learn. It is about creating, not just consumption. Come and be inspired!

iPad Camp will be a refreshing day of ideas and activities to help teachers be more productive in their classroom and organized in lesson planning. No more sticky notes stuck here and there. We'll look at teaching and learning with iPads and be reminded of best instructional practices to engage and enhance student learning. We'll finish with reflection ideas on the iPads that will help with planning for the next lesson,.

Kelly Grigg is an Instructional Technology Specialist for Deer Park ISD in Deer Park, Texas (Houston), where she has spent her entire 23-year career. After teaching at the elementary level and earning her MS in Instructional Technology, Kelly served as a Campus technology Integration Specialist for over a decade training teachers and working with students at the elementary level. As the Instructional Technology Specialist leader for her district, Kelly is part of an AMAZING team that helps to integrate technology into district curriculum and professionally develop teachers grades Pre-K-12.

Campus Parking

A permit is required to park on the Kansas State University campus. Visitor permits (including the parking garage) can be purchased from K-State Parking Services for $5 per day. Parking services requires payment at the time the order is placed.

Campus parking is limited and we recommend you purchase a visitor permit in advance to ensure availability at the conference. If you do not purchase a permit prior to the conference, regular rates will apply for the K-State Parking Garage (if available). Current parking garage rate is $1.50 per hour or $12 per day. The parking garage clearance is 8 feet 2 inches. If your vehicle is larger than the garage clearance, please purchase your parking pass thru the Information Kiosk adjacent to the parking garage on 17th St. and Anderson Ave.

For those wanting to park in the lot just outside the Business Administration building (Lot A3) or the lot below McCain (Lot A2), a visitor permits for outdoor parking lots may be obtained for $5 per day from the Information Kiosk adjacent to the parking garage on 17th St. and Anderson Ave. Kiosk hours are 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. A permit is not needed for outdoor lots after 5 p.m. and on weekends.  Visitor permits are valid in the following areas: Any student, housing and faculty/staff parking lots, designated with the signs J, O, R, T, W or Z. Visitor permits are not valid in Service Vehicle areas, Reserved Parking areas or Meter Parking.

Click on the link below, create an account (or access an existing account) and order their permit. To create an account, you can click on Sign Up in the upper right hand side of screen. Once there you will be asked for an email, your first and last name, and to create a password. If you have an account, you’ll use your email address and password to access your account and order your permit.

The electronic permit and parking instructions will be sent via email from K-State Parking Services after the order has been placed. The permit is to be printed and used to park on campus. For garage parking, you will scan the special barcode on the permit to enter and exit the garage. For outside parking, you will place the permit on the dashboard of your vehicle and be clearly visible.
