Education Ambassadors

The Education Ambassadors organization provides a unique opportunity for aspiring leaders to enhance their leadership skills through service to the college. This group of outstanding students actively promotes teaching as a profession to prospective, incoming, and current K-State students.

The Ambassadors represent the College of Education proudly and enthusiastically through Senior Days, K-State’s academic majors fair, “K-State Celebrates!” and other special events. Also, Ambassadors serve as peer instructors each semester as they assist academic advisors with teaching the DED 075, Orientation to Teacher Education, class. These activities offer Education Ambassadors an opportunity to connect on a deeper level with College of Education faculty and staff, while developing communication and teaching skills through their service.

Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and at least four semesters remaining at K-State. Applications will be available online in early February.
