Richard G. Hause Creativity Lecture: Education Symposium

About

Since 1988, College of Education students have organized the K-State Education Symposium, an annual professional development event featuring lectures from K-State faculty, staff, and leaders in the field. Each year, a new theme is selected and specific presenters are invited to discuss different aspects of it, along with a documentary showcase created by the College of Education. The symposium also features the Hause Creativity/Program Series, which began in 1995 as a tribute to Dr. Richard Hause upon his retirement from Kansas State University. A professor in Curriculum and Instruction, Dr. Hause developed and taught a graduate-level course focused on creativity and made lasting contributions to the field through his work with students and educators. The series continues his legacy by highlighting creativity, innovation, and new ideas in education.
