Immersive Learning Lab
Kansas State University • College of Education
Overview
The Immersive Learning Lab (ILL) at Kansas State University’s College of Education is dedicated to advancing innovation in virtual reality (VR), artificial intelligence (AI), and immersive learning technologies for teaching and teacher preparation.
Through collaborative research, interdisciplinary partnerships, and hands-on exploration, the lab helps educators and students discover how immersive tools can enhance STEM learning and literacy, particularly for multilingual learners and rural communities.
The lab supports research and training that bridges literacy, STEM, and immersive technology integration. Projects explore how virtual environments enhance engagement, conceptual understanding, and teacher preparation for 21st-century classrooms.
We coordinate immersive learning initiatives and support faculty and students in grant activity, research, and teaching innovations.
Innovating education through immersive experience and research.
