Business Education
Welcome to the Business Education program at Kansas State University! We are a program with a proud tradition of preparing Business teachers to make a difference in the lives of their students. We will prepare you and support you along the journey of becoming a licensed teacher. Below are just a few things that you should know about Business Education:
- Business Education students benefit from a strong working partnership between the College of Education and the College of Business. You will be fortunate to complete practicum and methods under exceptional Business educators from our partnering district, on-site at the schools.
- There is a shortage of teachers across the state and country, leaving open opportunities for graduates to have their pick of positions.
- Make the most of your collegiate experience and get involved in many of our student organizations like KNEA-AE, Ed Astra, Kappa Delta Pi (Honors Society), and More! You can also help judge CTSO events like FBLA, DECA, and BPA.
- The College of Education champions the appropriate use of technology to meet the needs of all learners and instills a commitment to serving varied populations and regions, as noted through both urban and rural partnerships.
