This week’s "Crash the Class" episode was filmed in Norton, Kansas where Dean Debbie Mercer surprised Trent Brubaker, a Social Studies teacher at Norton Community High School. Trent is doing excellent work as a second year teacher and has also immersed himself into the community as an assistant coach for the bluejays. Zayra Espinoza
This week’s Crash the Class episode was filmed in Junction City, Kansas where Dean Debbie Mercer surprised Zayra Espinoza, a 1st grade teacher at Washington Elementary School. Zayra has been surrounded by educators from a young age, both of her parents are teacher and is currently working at Washington Elementary with her mom. She enjoys working with her kids and connecting with her peer teachers. Gianna Navigato
This week’s Crash the Class episode was filmed in Manhattan, Kansas where Dean Debbie Mercer surprised Gianna Navigato, a 4th grade teacher at Oliver Brown Elementary School. Gianna was nominated by Lindsey Thyer, an Academic Advisor for Kansas State College of Education. Gianna is a caring and hard working teacher, who is making a huge impact on her students and staff.
