Research and Scholarship
The College of Education at Kansas State University has a strong history of research and external funding. The research, research and development (R & D), and creative program endeavors of the college are responsive to emerging state and national needs as reflected in legislation and priorities in the field of K-20 education. The mission of the college mandates that our research and scholarly activities integrate research, education and engagement for preparing educational professionals at all levels.
In this section you will find information about faculty and student research and publications, funded projects, and initiatives of the Office of the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies (OAD) including the College of Education New Faculty Mentoring Program, data collection and analysis for the college's 2025 strategic plan, the Distinguished Educational Research Lecture Series, and the student research journal, Prairie Journal of Educational Research.
