Kansas Board of Regents' Kansas Teacher Service Scholarship

Are you looking for scholarships for teachers? The Kansas Board of Regents has a unique opportunity for residents of the state of Kansas.

Kansas State University students enrolled in eligible College of Education programs are encouraged to apply for the Kansas Teacher Service Scholarship from the Kansas Board of Regents, which was enacted to support the need for licensed and fully endorsed teachers in hard-to-fill disciplines and underserved geographic areas in the State of Kansas.

This service obligation scholarship program provides financial assistance to:

  • Students pursuing an eligible bachelor's degree program.
  • Students, including currently licensed teachers, pursuing new endorsements or a master's degree in a hard-to-fill discipline, as defined by the Kansas Board of Regents.
  • Either category of student above planning to teach K-12 in an underserved geographic area in Kansas, as defined by the Kansas Board of Regents.
