Step into the World of EDCATS: Future Teachers Visit Day Awaits! - October 31, 2024

Future Teachers Visit Day is designed to offer students of all ages an early glimpse into the College of Education. You’ll spend the day exploring our academic programs and services, meeting faculty and staff, attending an education class, and hanging out with current EDCATS! Plus, we’ll provide meals!

Feel free to bring your parents—they’ll have their own activities to keep them engaged. While students dive into the college experience, parents will discuss topics like enrollment, financial aid and scholarships, parent and family programs, and residential life.

Students planning to attend K-State and major in Education will be entered into a drawing for exclusive scholarships if they join this event. Additionally, all students will have the chance to receive EDCAT swag!

We warmly welcome school groups to attend Future Teachers Visit Day. Whether you have interested students or teacher pathway programs, everyone is invited. Please ensure students register individually for accurate headcount information.

Education Experience Day

Available most days that school is in session.

Participating in this event brings you as close to being an EDCAT without actually being an EDCAT! Education Experience Day allows you to be an EDCAT for the day. We’ll connect you with one of our Student Ambassadors and you’ll spend your day with them as they go to class, eat lunch, meet with their advisor, etc. We can also tailor your day around specific things that you want to see or experience – a particular residence hall, meet with an organization, eat Call Hall ice cream – whatever you want!

Parents are welcome to attend but this experience is tailored specifically to you. So, if they come, we’ll talk to them awhile and then send them out to explore Manhappiness!
