Welcome to the Modern Languages Education program at Kansas State University! We are excited you are interested in teaching. We will prepare you, and support you, through the educational journey to becoming a licensed teacher.

Fostering New Generations

Through this program, you will be fostering new generations of foreign language speakers and collaborating with future colleagues. As we learn about best practices in world language pedagogy, we collaborate to develop innovative and new instructional techniques and strategies.

Confident and Effective

You will develop strategies to become a confident and effective You will work in classrooms to practice your skills, interact with students and begin to shape your path as a professional educator.

Study Abroad

You will develop strong friendships as you work on language skills through language classes and study groups. There are also ample opportunities for you to study abroad and obtain new perspectives on education from a global lens.

High Demand

World language teachers are in high demand, and our graduates are sought out. You are wanted and needed in classrooms. You will graduate as an exceptional world language teacher with unlimited career opportunities!
