Physical Education (P.E.) and Health Program

Welcome to the Physical Education (P.E.) and Health program at Kansas State University! We are a program with a proud tradition of preparing teachers in the disciplines of P.E. and Health. We will prepare you, and support you, along the journey of becoming a licensed teacher.

Higher Level

Our program takes the “hands-on” approach to education to a higher level. You will participate in real-life field experiences right away. You will have over 100 hours of experience in schools, and that’s prior to student teaching!

Fun

We have fun! You will have various social opportunities throughout your time at K-State such as lunch meetings, sporting events, and cookouts at the professors' homes.

Professional Conferences

Our students also have opportunities to travel with faculty and present at professional conferences throughout the year.

Community

You will be a part of a tight-knit, P.E. and Health community. You will be taught by professors that deeply care about your success as a student, a teacher, and a person.
