The Kansas State University’s $1,000
Summer 2026 Pathway to Teaching Scholarships
Award. A $1,000 Scholarship ($1,000 for Summer 2026 Term)
Eligibility.
  • Kansas resident
  • Intend to teach in Kansas schools
  • Admitted to the MAT in Summer 2026
  • Enrolled in at least one MAT course in May, June, or July 2026
  • Admitted students are automatically awarded and will receive funding on a first-come, first-served basis.

Deadline. Awards are made until funding is exhausted.

Renewal. Students in good standing with a 3.0 GPA are automatically renewed for up to three semesters.
Purpose. To help Kansas career changers make the transition to teaching.
