The M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction requires a minimum of 31 graduate credit hours, combining core coursework in curriculum, teaching and learning, student needs, educational technology and research with 15+ hours in a chosen specialization.
K-State offers online Ph.D. and Ed.D. programs in Curriculum and Instruction for educators seeking advanced expertise. The Ph.D. emphasizes educational research and scholarship, while the Ed.D. focuses on teaching practice, leadership and applying research in P–12 settings.
K-State offers online graduate certificates in Computer Science Education, Digital Media for Educators, Educational Technology, and Teaching and Learning. These programs help educators develop specialized skills in technology, digital media and teaching practices, with select certificates offering pathways toward advanced degrees or Kansas teacher licensure.

The M.S. in Educational Leadership is a flexible 30-credit professional degree that prepares educators for leadership roles in PK–12 settings, including building-level principal licensure in Kansas and other school leadership positions.
The Ed.D. in Educational Leadership prepares experienced educators for advanced leadership roles through an individualized program of study tailored to each student’s goals and expertise. Coursework can also be designed to meet Kansas district-level (superintendent) licensure requirements.
The online 18-credit-hour Qualitative Research Graduate Certificate prepares students to design, conduct and communicate qualitative research in education and other fields. The program develops practical research skills and a deeper understanding of the qualitative inquiry process.

The counseling and student development - higher education administration doctorate is designed for educators, administrators, direct service providers and leaders who seek to enhance their knowledge and professional skills to assume positions in institutions of higher education or in education-related agencies.
We offer both graduate and undergraduate programming in special education – a master's degree, a doctoral degree, a graduate certificate in teaching students with autism spectrum disorder, and endorsements in high incidence and low incidence special education as well as undergraduate provisional high incidence endorsements added to the elementary or secondary education licensure programs.
